Caught Drawling Salaries From 3 Sources
The Executive Secretary of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association of Ghana (CLOGSAG), has been smoked out for drawing monthly salaries from three different institutions.
Isaac Bampoe Addo, per information intercepted by The New Republic is currently under serious investigations. The serial striker and protestor has the monumental task to explain to authorities why this is the case.
The implicated institutions are CLOGSAG, the Controller and Accountant General Department (CAGD) and Hedge Pensions Trust Limited.
The Executive Secretary, who recently led his members to a nationwide strike before his appointment as CLOGSAG boss, was an employee of the state and so he draws salary from the Controller and Accountant.
Upon his appointment as the Executive Secretary, he automatically earned another salary every monthly because apparently leading CLOGSAG, is a full time job per the Association’s constitution.
And so he has been taking this salary since 2011 when he was appointed.
Then lastly as the Executive Director of Hedge Pensions Trust Limited, he is paid another salary even though the company is privately owned by Shares, and it is licensed as a Corporate Trustee.
The cover of Bampoe Addo was blown in a petition.
The petition was submitted recently on March 31, 2026 from the Financial Crime Uuit on the instruction of the Deputy Executive Director/Operation for further investigations.
It named the petitioner as Emmanuel Acquah, who happens to be a Civil Servant and a member of CLOGSAG.
