Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts Minister, Abla Dzifa Gomashie has urged Ghanaians to explore their own country and support local tourism destinations.
Speaking during her visit to the Jirapa Royal Hill Safari, popularly known as “Jirapa Dubai,” the Minister described the facility as a world-class eco-tourism destination comparable to celebrated safari experiences around the world.

She emphasized that Ghana’s tourism industry can thrive through strong domestic participation, noting that the country’s rich cultural heritage, wildlife, landscapes and unique experiences make Ghana a destination for everyone.
Minister Gomashie also encouraged the use of social media, bloggers and vloggers to showcase Ghana’s tourism potential to the world.

The “Black Star Experience” forms part of broader efforts by the Ministry to reposition Ghana as a major tourism and cultural hub on the African continent while strengthening national identity and economic growth through culture-driven development.
