President John Dramani Mahama has joined millions of Ghanaians in commemorating Mother’s Day, extending profound gratitude to mothers for their enduring sacrifices and pivotal role in nurturing the nation’s families.
In a message shared on social media, the President described the occasion as a solemn reminder to honour the love, resilience, and invaluable contributions of mothers to society.
“Today is another opportunity for us to celebrate our mothers. Thank you to you all,” he wrote.
Beyond the national tribute, President Mahama also paid a deeply personal homage to his wife, Lordina Mahama, acknowledging her as the cornerstone of their family life.
“To you, Lordina, the kids and grandkids just want to thank you for being the heart and strength of our family. Happy Mother’s Day,” he added.
