The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has scheduled a balloting exercise for its presidential aspirants ahead of the party’s January 31, 2026, presidential primary.

The exercise, which will determine the positions of aspirants on the ballot paper, is set for Friday, October 10, 2025, at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra. It will begin at 11:00 a.m.

In a letter signed by William Yamoah, Secretary to the Presidential Elections Committee, the party congratulated the aspirants on successfully passing the vetting stage and urged them to participate in the process.

The letter, dated October 7, 2025, noted that the party remains committed to transparency and fairness in its internal democratic processes.

The balloting invitation was extended to all five aspirants: Ing. Kwabena Agyei Agyepong, Hon. Ken Ohene Agyapong, Hon. Dr. Bryan Acheampong, former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, and Hon. Dr. Yaw Osei Adutwum.

The party further requested confirmation of receipt of the invitation from the aspirants and assured them of its readiness to address any concerns ahead of the event.
