Guinea has displayed it strong troops across the country following its recent border disagreement with neighobur Liberia. The exercise was undertaken following brewing border dispute with neighbours earlier this month. The confusion rocked the two countries after Guinean soldiers raised flag at the Sorlumba Border Point amid sand-mining dispute. Burkina Faso’s military-led government, has with immediate effect banned the exportation of raw tomatoes, a move expected to deepen supply challenges in Ghana. The ban comes weeks after some 7 Ghanaian tomato traders were injured and burned beyond recognition in an ambush by a terrorist group in the northern Burkinabe town of Titao. The action by the Burkinabe authorities has sent panic reactions to Ghana which shares economic and agricultural trade links with Burkina Faso. The victims of the Sky Arrow microlight with designation 9G-ADV, crashed at the Oninku park at Site 17 in Tema Community 1 in Accra, have been identified as Captain Frank Donkor and his younger brother, Elijah Nana Yaw Donkor. Captain Donkor was a pilot with over 15 years (12 hours) of flight experience, while his brother, Nana Yaw Donkor, was a fresh university graduate and a fish farmer. President John Dramani Mahama, will on Friday, March 20, cut sod for the first Farmer Service Centre initiative in Afram Plains in the Eastern Region. First Lady Lordina Dramani Mahama has commissioned the renovated and fully equipped Anyima Health Centre in the Kintampo South District of the Bono East Region, to improve access to quality healthcare. The project, undertaken by the Lordina Foundation, following advocacy by Anyima Queenmother Nana Saa Gyamfuaa II, will serve more than 3,000 residents in Anyima and surrounding communities, with expanded maternal, emergency and outpatient services.
